Iceland Poppies
Iceland Poppies
(10 Stem Bunch)
Delicate appearance, surprisingly strong performance.
Our Iceland poppies are harvested at the cracking bud stage, just as color shows but before the petals fully unfurl—giving florists the longest possible vase life. Once open, each bloom offers vibrant, tissue-like petals that feel both whimsical and elevated in design work.
Florist Notes:
Stem length: 14–18" average, with strong, upright stems that hydrate well
Vase life: 5–7 days when harvested and conditioned properly
Color range: Soft apricots, corals, creams, peaches, pinks, whites, and yellows (custom mixes vary weekly)
Bloom behavior: Blooms open quickly in warmth and light; store cool to extend vase life
Design use: Perfect for fine art arrangements, airy centerpieces, and spring weddings—pairs beautifully with ranunculus, anemones, and flowering branches
Handling tip: Sear stem ends for 5–10 seconds with a flame or boiling water for maximum vase life
Available: May–July (weather dependent)
Sold in: Grower’s bunches of 10 stems
